Loadrunner

What is Loadrunner?

OpenText Loadrunner

Industry-leading load testing tool

Systematically supports important tasks for performing load tests in various environments.

Additionally, through performance verification based on LoadRunner, you can predict system capacity, discover application defect factors early, resolve defect factors to prevent system failures, and increase operational efficiency.

Product Introduction

Product Features

Convenience of Integrated IDE Functionality

- Scripts recording and editing for load testing
- Integrated support for functions needed for script creation such as result verification and debugging, and includes various control functions and libraries for sophisticated load generation

Sophisticated Test Data Usage

- Easy handling of changing data values through parameter wizard
- Can import parameter data values from Excel, txt, MS Access and automatically generate input values based on rules for variable data such as numbers and dates without manual coding

Perfect Real-time Result Sharing Support

- LoadRunner's greatest advantage is "real-time" monitoring and response to various situations during load testing

Dedicated Result Analysis Tool for Easy Use and Analysis

- Provides a dedicated analysis tool with various information on performance test results that can be easily edited and reconfigured

Product Introduction

Key Functions

Script Creator Configuration

LoadRunner performs in the same way as the End User executes the Application, allowing LoadRunner to automatically record scripts for easy test creation. Scripts can be saved and used continuously, not just once. It supports recording using Internet Explorer, Chrome, and Firefox browsers.

Load Controller Configuration

Easy definition of load scenarios using the Schedule Builder function to increase total load generating users evenly regardless of task division, with settings for number of users to deploy, deployment interval, and duration relationship. To test in environments identical to real End User environments, configure RunTime Settings by item.

Load Analyzer Configuration

LoadRunner's Analysis Utility provides various types of analysis reports by default, allowing quick identification of major causes of performance degradation. It can also generate analysis reports in MS-Word and HTML formats.

Scenario Configuration

LoadRunner creates scenarios similar to real situations using test script combinations to generate load. LoadRunner scenarios can be configured to run individually by unit, simultaneously for all, or with conditional execution by scenario, which can be managed collectively in the Controller, reducing time spent on configuration and execution.

Real-time Performance Monitoring Configuration

LoadRunner provides monitoring of TPS, response time, throughput per second, processed items per second, system CPU usage, etc., during performance testing for real-time performance analysis.

Various Report Configurations for Result Analysis

LoadRunner's Analysis Utility provides various types of analysis reports by default, allowing quick identification of major causes of performance degradation. It can also generate analysis reports in MS-Word and HTML formats.

Response Time Analysis Report Configuration

Provides Network, Server Time analysis for individual requests and detailed analysis information on Network Time, including DNS Time, Connection Time, and Receive Time.
